I am an economist in the Africa Department of the International Monetary Fund. I am also a CESifo research affiliate.

My research interests are International Economics and Macroeconomics.

I hold a PhD in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and previously worked as an assistant professor at the University of Edinburgh and as an economic adviser at HM Treasury.

According to RePEc, I am literally almost the last economist in the world.
